Our Full Review

In the same vein as Paris and New York New York Casinos – this is a tribute casino resort, even right down to bona fide Gondola rides and street performances in the mock-up of St Mark’s Square. This place even has a traffic flow system with red lights to stop! There is so much to do in this mega resort, which is one of the largest hotels in the world, that you could quite legitimately never leave the resort.

Expansive in size.

That often means the resort is packed with holiday makers who are staying at lower class hotels but who want to enjoy the Venetian experience, so if you’re not keen on a very busy resort then this might not be the place for you.

A very exuberant hotel, based firmly on traditional Italian elegance and charm.

All the rooms in the Venetian are suites, and their biggest promotion in terms of rooms is that all of them are 650 square feet plus. There are over 5000 rooms at the Venetian.

If money isn’t a problem for you, then check out the King View Suite with views of the Strip or the Vegas surrounding mountains.

Too many restaurants to mention (20+), but the most popular places are just Italian and include eateries by Emerial Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck and Mario Batali – as well as traditional Italian artisan pizza and pasta joints.

Like all our featured casinos there are downsides. Particularly the lack of free wi-fi for guests. There’s also costs for guests to use the (albeit high class) gym facilities. With six pools to choose from, the Venetian-Palazzo has plenty of choice for those wanting to top up their tan.

 

Entertainment too comes at a price – especially if you want to see the full Broadway plays

The Casino is simply top class. Over 120,000 square feet and all the games you’d ever want to play such as roulette, blackjack, baccarat – but the real bonus is the great range of pokies, over 2500 of them! Recent additions to the extensive pokies line up at Venetian-Palazzo include: Ellen, The Hangover and The Walking Dead.

Location

The Venetian-Palazzo is located “centre north” of the strip, opposite TI and the massive Fashion Show Mall.  Once isolated, the Venetian is located south of Wynn-Encore and has successfully managed to drag the strip action north by half a mile.
